PINELLAS HOPE HOMELESS SHELTER
Pinellas Hope serves homeless adults by providing temporary
emergency shelter for 200-250 individuals. Residents must follow strict rules
that include a curfew, chores and no drugs or alcohol and cooperating with
social service
GRACE HOUSE SHELTER – FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES
RCS Grace House shelters homeless families with children for
two months, providing one-to-one counseling and guidance toward
self-sufficiency. The program dispenses food, clothing and household goods. The
facility consists of 13 furnished apartments, offices, activities center,
laundry room, playground and houses up to 85 individuals.
THE HAVEN – DOMESTIC ABUSE CRISIS SHELTER

The following services are provided for victims of
domestic violence and their children. Emergency Shelter Services – including
food, shelter, clothing, counseling for children and adults, information and
referral and advocacy. 20 beds with maximum length of stay of
30 days. Shelter services began in 1980. Outreach Services – including
follow-up for graduates, support groups for adults and children, legal advocacy
through the court process, 24 hour hotline, a cellular
phone project for stalking victims, public awareness presentations, violence
prevention program and professional training regarding domestic violence.
Transitional Living provides long-term (up to 24 months) support housing for
victims of domestic violence, including counseling for adults and children. The
Transitional Living Program began in 1993 and can house a maximum of 66 individuals
per year. The facility consists of 11 furnished apartments, offices, activities
center, laundry room and playground.

HEP works to provide homeless and low-income individuals and
families with housing, food, clothing, and support services necessary to obtain
self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. HEP is dedicated year round, on a
daily basis to "helping people help themselves." HPE provides
families and individuals with not only housing and food, but also the necessary
supportive services to obtain self-sufficiency.
